WELCOME

American Business Clubs (AMBUCS) is a civic organization. As a service club, one of our highest priorities is to pay our "civic rent." The proceeds from our fundraising activities have enabled us to provide scholarships for therapists and most recently we completed a playground for handicapped children.

MISSION STATEMENT:

AMBUCS are dedicated to creating opportunities for independence for people with disabilities

by performing community service
by providing AmTrykes to children with disabilities
by providing scholarships for therapists

Who We Are

Ambucs are energetic, fun loving men and women who get together and enjoy working on ways to help people in their community who have disabilities. They perform a variety of community services including providing disability accessible playground equipment and building wheelchair ramps for local individuals in need . With the proceeds from their fund raisers they may donate to a scholarship endowment, local, nonprofit agencies, individuals who need medical devices, hospitals for equipment and buy AmTrykes for young children with disabilities.

How to Get Involved

Edmond Noon AMBUCS (Club#511) was founded November 20, 1976 in Edmond, Oklahoma. It meets every Friday at noon in the Student Center of the University of Central Oklahoma.
