Edmond AMBUCS

The EDMOND chapter, was chartered on November 20, 1976. We meet on Friday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Cherokee Room located in the Nigh Center of the University of Central Oklahoma (on the corner of Second & University).  We have great speakers, fun and fellowship .

Membership is open by invitation to men and women in the community. Currently our club has about 85 members.

Club Dues - Dues are billed on a quarterly basis and are payable upon receipt of the invoice; however,  members may pay by the month if they desire. A member may pay the dues in advance for any length of time they wish.

AMBUC club's dues cover the costs of the following items; national dues, district dues, meals, bulletins, committee  and social activities.

If you are delinquent in paying the dues please contact the treasurer to establish a payment schedule. Our organization cannot continue to carry a past due account for longer than 90 days. The Board of Directors is willing to work with any member who shows a good faith effort to keep their dues current. This insures that all members will  be treated fairly.

Resignations must be submitted IN WRITING to the Board of Directors.  Members are responsible for dues up to and including the month of resignation. A member will be dropped "In bad standing" if dues are not current at the time of resignation.

If you have any questions about dues or the finances of our club please do not hesitate to get in touch with the treasurer.

AMBUC PROGRAMS

Community Service - The Edmond AMBUCS have raised over a million dollars and donated thousands of volunteer hours to local charity. We  provide scholarships to local therapy students and recognize a therapist yearly. Today the major thrust of our organization has been to create a universal usage playground for all children including those with disabilities. This has been done through partnerships with local businesses and the city of Edmond Park and Recreation Department.
